My name is Jerome Tissieres, I live in Switzerland, Europe. Welcome to my blog!
I have been working in the networking and telecommunication industry for more than 28 years. Designing, building, operating, and optimizing cutting-edge network services and infrastructures across diverse landscapes.
I’m currently leading the data center infrastructure team for a world-class HPC research center in Switzerland.
In this technical blog, I try to cover a wide range of networking hardware, systems, and vendors, including Cisco, Meraki, Huawei, as well as NVIDIA (Mellanox & Cumulus). I’m also interested in the details of the different software for network planning, design, operation, troubleshooting, and automation. In addition, I leverage my own learning experiences in the fields of network engineering, automation, a bit of software development, and the different cloud solutions. Finally, from time to time, I also write my personal thoughts and advice on the different aspects of a network engineer’s career.
You can find my complete professional experience on my LinkedIn profile page, and see a list of my certifications and some of my educational background on my Credly page.
